Media: Programs that were used, to demonstrate design intentions, were Revit for technical layout and rendering (cloud rendering and visual styles) and Photoshop to add depth and entourage.

 

Project Purpose: For a senior project, research was conducted on the importance of designing sustainably, with special considerations of materials and their health impacts on the occupants. Additionally, the cohousing model was researched to understand the importance of community and allowing for the occupants to have more control over their environment and homes.

 

Guidelines: Following the zoning bylaws of Bracebridge, Ontario, the location of the residential units, follow the Ontario Building Code while comparing acceptable materials and finishes with Red List and Declare.
