Media: AutoCAD was predominately used to create construction and detail drawings. Renders are done by hand with the use of markers, coloured pencils, ink,  and chalk.

 

Project Purpose: This project was to design a Habitat for Humanity home for a real family and fulfill their individual needs with the house template given to us. 

 

Guidelines: For the residential project, it was important to keep a universal design (following CHMC Accessible Housing by Design requirements) for future family needs. Additional considerations were conforming to the Ontario Building Codes and all city bylaws. It was also suggested to implement "green" building techniques, or technologies, to create a healthy environment.
