Media: Programs used to demonstrate design intentions were Revit for technical layout and rendering (cloud rendering and visual styles) and Photoshop to add depth.

Project Purpose: The project was designed to meet the needs of the Steelcase competition. The research was conducted to understand various learning styles. This highlighted the importance of flexibility and movability when designing the space.

 

Guidelines: It was essential to equally distribute the required square footage while meeting these adjacencies while keeping the historic integrity of the 10th and 11th floor. Additionally, it was required to design a personalized Wild Card Space, that met the needs of the space and the individuals. By designing a small café, the occupants had a space for rest and nourishment to promote growth.
